CocoaHeadsNL 2023 newsletter
As you maybe might have noticed for the first time in 10 years we had a small break in meetups. As you are aware we are running CocoaHeads as a non profit next to our regular lives and every now and then things change.
We got through the pandemic with very nice videos where possible and are happy we managed to pull of another great Doios. It also made us realize however we missed the real life meetups and the need to restart them hopefully like before.
You probably realize that there is some effort needed to organize our meetups and currently it felt like a break could benefit us.
Next to that @joya indicated while she can still help at meetups she wanted to step down from the team. Thank you @joya for your efforts and we love to see you at future meetups!
Furthermore @Qing Li indicated she wanted to help at future meetups. Know that at future meetups you can also ask her help now.
So what about those future meetups? This is where we want to start filling the monthly spot again but would like to ask your feedback, input or help in finding companies to host and speakers to present like before.
The first meetup we would like to put on the calendar is appdevcon for which we will post more info soon. Like always a seperate ticket will be needed and we will try and get you a discount code. We are already looking into May and June for wwdc and are thinking to focus these events on meeting all of you again in real life.
Some thing might have changed for you too, some of you became parents or got married which we might have missed by being online. We are looking forward catching up and then restart the regular meetups.
Please feel free to get in contact with ideas, question, hosting suggestions or feedback. One idea could be to organize a family day or barbecue when the weather improves further. We are looking forward seeing you again.
So info soon on:
- AppDevCon
- A meetup
- WWDC viewing party
And get in touch on:
- Ideas or questions
- Hosting suggestions
- Feedback
See you at our next meetup,
Bart, Marco, Jeroen and Qing
