Big news

This week I signed a contract with Stream. I will become part of their Developer Relations team as a Developer Relations Engineer iOS. I am looking forward to this new role a lot.

Starting somewhere new also means leaving my current team behind. Nine peers spread across three teams. I had the privilege to be their engineering lead. Being the technical conscious was a lot of fun and I learned a lot in this role. I've been working on this project, the consumer iOS app for a Dutch insurance company, for about three and a half years. But on October, 31 this will end and the Monday after I will start in my new role.

Parts of my new role will feel familiar, and some parts will be new. I expect to be able to develop new skill, but also rely on my own technical expertise to deliver results. Also from what I understood, the onboarding proces is going to be killer.

Also, no worries on my podcast. It'll keep going and be completely my own. Also Monday will be episode 100 and on October 13 it will be exactly one year since I published my first episode.
