Starting my podcast: AppForce1
So a little over a month ago I started my new podcast, and since then a lot has happened. To get started I had to do a number of things.
- Get recording gear.
- Learn to record and edit with some software.
- Select a podcast hosting platform.
But the end result is I now have a podcast feed active and I am 13 episodes in.

When starting out I decided to create episodes containing last week's news and events related to iOS development. Due to the enjoyment I am getting from creating these episodes I started looking for more topics where I can help the iOS developer community.
The work by Yuri Karabatov has me considering writing a book specific for developers currently in or growing towards a lead developer role. I myself am considered by my peers to be a lead developer nowadays and I must admit it is a journey filled with discovery, trial & error and lots of learning. With this book I hope to share my experience and tips for those who are walking somewhat the same path in their software development career as me.
Besides my regular episodes I also wound up creating what I call "special" episodes in which I interview an iOS developer from the community.
